Revision of NEET UG 2024 Merit List

Following the Supreme Court’s order, the NTA will revise the NEET UG merit list based on the expert panel’s suggestions from IIT Delhi regarding the disputed Physics question. Initially, the NTA had granted four marks to students who chose either of the two correct options. However, in the revised merit list, only those who marked the correct answer as per the expert committee’s suggestion will receive four marks. This revision affects over 4 lakh students who had answered according to the old NCERT textbook, resulting in a reshuffling of ranks.
