On Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2024. Students who took part in the CBSE Board Exams 2024 can now access their results through the board’s official website at cbseresults.nic.in.
Starting today, May 17, CBSE has also begun the re-evaluation and verification of marks for Class 12 students. The verification window for Class 12 students is open from May 17 to May 21, while Class 10 students can apply for verification from May 20 to May 24. To use these services, students must pay a fee of Rs 500 per subject.
The official notice released by CBSE highlighted the scale of this year’s examinations. It stated, “In the 2024 examinations, 22,81,225 students from 25,726 schools in 82 subjects from India and 26 countries abroad were registered in class X. According to the subjects offered by these students, approximately 1,48,27,963 answer books were evaluated.”
How to Apply for Revaluation for CBSE Class 12
Follow these steps to apply for revaluation:
- Visit CBSE’s official website: cbse.gov.in
- Click on the ‘Examination/Student’ section, then select ‘Apply for Revaluation’.
- A new window with the application form will appear. Fill in the required details.
- Complete the form according to the provided instructions.
- Click on ‘Submit’ and pay the application fee.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Dates:
- Verification of marks: May 17 to May 21 (Rs 500 per subject)
- Obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer books: June 1 to June 2 (Rs 700 per subject)
- Revaluation of answers: June 6 to June 7 (Rs 100 per question)
Additionally, CBSE has announced the schedule for the Class 12 and Class 10 supplementary exams. These supplementary exams will begin on July 15, 2024, for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. This provision is available for candidates who were unable to pass the regular exams. The specific dates for the compartment exams will be disclosed by the last week of May.
