The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu declared the much-awaited TN Result 2024 today, May 6, 2024. The TN Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the results for Class 12 (Plus 2) exams, covering all three streams-Science, Commerce, and Arts-simultaneously.
During the press briefing, the board disclosed the overall pass percentage, gender-specific pass rates, and other pertinent information. Aspirants can access their Tamil Nadu TN HSC Result 2024 or TN HSC Result 2024 via the official website, tnresults.nic.in.
The Tamil Nadu Board TN 12th Result 2024 is also accessible on alternative official websites such as dge.tn.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. This year, around 7 lakh candidates sat for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board examination. In the previous year, the Tamil Nadu Class 12th board exams were conducted from March 13 to April 3, 2023, with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols.
The Directorate of Government Examinations announced the TN Class 12th Results 2023, revealing an impressive pass percentage of 94.03%. Notably, girls surpassed boys with a pass percentage of 96.38% compared to the boys’ 91.45%.

The TN 12th board exams or TNDGE TN Plus 2 exams took place from March 1 to March 22, 2024, at multiple examination centres throughout the state. Each day, the exams began at 10:15 am and concluded at 1:15 pm. Candidates were granted an extra 10 minutes to review the question paper and 5 minutes to confirm their details.
